The best lies are the ones told to children

That is the best arguement for having children I have ever heard.

Also: Santa Claus.

See Calvin's unnamed dad for details.

blue light special!

My favorite was the time he messed with Calvin's head about the different parts of a record moving at different speeds. That really freaked me out as a kid.

Dangit, I'm listening to a record right now and did not need to be reminded of that.

Lie Bot's lies build character!!

Which is especially essential in story arcs...

More like best argument for talking to other people's children. And emotionally ruining them.

LieBot is the best bastard.

Liebot is the bestard.

smooth portmanteau!

mellifluous, even.

Effervescent!

Liebot, you magnificent bestard, I read your book!

I wouldn't leave lie bot alone with my child

FUCK!

well said!

Did anyone else mentally add a DUHN DUHN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHN at the end? Boy... I sure hope so, otherwise I might have to go back to the special room.

I saw the alt text and went for "ca-me-ra-ca-me-ra" instead

but I think Drama is a good album, so what do I know

Lie Bot from a face-on view is horrifying.

Why why oh why isn't this strip rated higher?

Yeah man, what gives?

this is the saddest thing

I think phil is great dad material

Phillipe gets extra leg-length to allow him to kneel, yet he remains the same height whether kneeling or standing.

Otters are freaky.

I think it's totally rad that his name is Lie-Bot, he lies all the time, yet everyone always believes him. Guess the joke wouldn't be that funny otherwise.

Yeah, that's one of my favourite things about Achewood. When I'm telling people about the strip, my description usually concludes with something like "...and his name is Lie Bot!"

How can a robot gasp

Interesting how Lie Bot sometimes uses the truth to tell more effective lies.
