Wigu and Phillipe would be great friends.

Fish would have fun hanging out with them also...

especially if he and Phillipe played checkers together

i believe jeff pulls off the lie bot/philippe dynamic passably

maybe, but without affection.

Agreed.

Liebot = the old john popper.

yeah i think wigu and phillipe should definitely never meet because Topato would get hella jealous and beat phillipe with a million punches. sorry, little guy

Every time anyone mentions Wigu I think of Wagyu beef.

I fold

it is like calvinball, but with more sadistic forced dancing.

I recall there being quite a bit of sadistic forced dancing in calvinball.

you must play a different version than I do.

I blew it (He's sorry)
I knew it (So sorry)

(Just don't do it anymore you scurvy scalawag)

Fuck, that brought me back

I too was reminded of Calvinball.

Well, I just got done shitting on all the guest strips in my last post (except the Kochalka! It is important that I stress that always!) and now I will eat that shit because this one is rad. Rowland nails the Achewood essence and still manages to tastefully inject enough of himself to make it his own. THIS SHIT THAT I'M EATING TASTES REALLY BAD!

Yeah this is actually one of my favourite Achewoods, perversely enough.

If I eat this shit can I please have a steak afterwards

Philippe's dialog is spot-on.

Maybe the only color strip that doesn't look terrible?

Do I remember Onstad doing an Overcompensating guest strip, or is that just a tasty dream?

I don't think that happened....Has Onstad ever done a guest strip for anyone?

Wait, I mean that as a genuine question, not internet asshole sarcasm. Just wanted to clarify.

I don't think so.

He did a guest strip for Scary-Go-Round? I think? Or at least a strip featuring Amy, it may have been on this site.

You're right.

Yep, this is a pretty sweet guest strip.

"Checkers is hard"
"roll the dice"
such humility

Sad and dancing Phillipe is the sweetest thing ever.

Lie bot is doing that thing he does.

Do you think Lie Bot's nose is a button or a light?

I always just assumed it was decorative. It looks like it might be a button though. Maybe he works like those old-school Crash Test Dummy toys: Punch him in the nose and his arms and legs pop off.
