I did "pay" to see this back in the day. lol that's why I posted. cus really it was like 5 bucks a year or some dumb shit. and who the hell would care?

Probably much the same way the folk what pay for signed strips feel every day.

That's not at all an exaggeration.

and yet, i get two lames. Quite odd, wouldn't you say?

I was lying.

Porque!

Seriously. I thought we were cool.

Fry, are we not cool?

Tragicone!

...No!

Onstad was not subject to the burning rage of thousands of betrayed five-bucks-owners, or if he was he survived it quite handily, so probably one big meh

This is one of the few non-comic comics that I actually liked...

Stuff like this is a part of why Achewood is Special.

Here comes a special comic!

One of the only online comics that details its location explicitly.

Yea, I'm not a fan of the whole underground thing. Much of what I enjoyed about the early Achewood was the sheer absurdity and lack of explanation regarding the difference between the human and animal world. It would be like if Disney introduced some kind of storyline involving a biological virus or genetic mutations to explain why Goofy is a talking dog and Pluto is just a pet. I just don't think that this adds to the humor or enjoyment of the strip at all, and I can't imagine anyone who enjoys Achewood's style of humor obsessing over this question. Then again, if you read this whole thing ironically, perhaps it's making fun of precisely those kinds of people. In which case one should disregard all of the above.

I agree, but the idea produced one of my absolute favorite strips... so I'm not complaining too vehemently.

Sympathy link!

I would actually start caring about Disney if they had storylines about genetic mutations and "biological viruses".

"Chronically intoxicated populace."

It would be permanently dark.

The copy reveals a grim monopolistic corporation has usurped governmental authority in Achewood's (animal) world.

lemoni = arrillaga?

You're going to have to explain this

Today's Blogs

Roast Beef: Man this is just nuts.
Teodor: There is a baby around
Molly: Squirt
Nice Pete: Chapter 16
Little Nephew: Fuck tha klown biz!

Is it weird that I find Little Nephew a mite more obnoxious than Pat? Slightly more entertaining, though.

The hell Molly!? I don't wanna read about that!

(That seriously creeped me out a little)

That was a bit too close to furry territory, I agree. Eeesshh. I get the feeling squirting isn't a learned l either, meaning I gots no idea how they are practicing... which kinda does my head in even more.

"a learned skill"

No, it's a skill that can be learned. Sorry to be the one to have to tell you this. I can see it's uncomfortable for you.

Not the concept. Just the idea of cartoon cats practicing. I'm suprised it can be learnt and am calling my girlfriend right now... and... wait. is there an instruction manual?

this is going to involve hella pelvic floor strength right?

I have no idea what you mean by "pelvic floor strength" but I heartily salute you in your pursuit of its mysteries. My own instruction manual was just a lifetime of insomnia, but there's always the internet. Good luck!

Google: Pelvic Floor Muscles. Their the muscles in the very depths of your abodomen. The depths from which the Fountain springs.

THEY ARE

I ain't a prude or nothin', and I definitely take no issue with Doing Whatever Needs To Be Done for a lady, but if I ever got squirt ambushed I think I would seriously be out of the room in a Flash-like blur echoing little-girl-who-just-saw-a-bug noises as I went. If we discuss it beforehand and it's really important, maybe we can make a deal. But any surprises of that variety would make for an evening of intensely strained conversation at the dinner table or whatever.

East Palo Alto -- excuse me, Achewood -- used to be pretty damn shady
