Man I could've sworn that said circumscribed, but I just assumed that bacause it's hall late.

I don't think that I've ever been so blue that dressing up like cowboys with a naive otter wouldn't cheer me up. You are rad Philippe.

Philippe is truly a rad friend.

he is rad as the dickens

Ray is very good at cheering people up. He tells them they are rad.

I think I'd feel pretty damn good if Ray told me I was rad.

This strip...is...rad!

The rad thing to say... ever!

You mean the rad that I... boned?

Wait, wait, no. Damn it!

This is my favourtite strip hands down.

my former friend didn't get this one at all.

Is he now former because of the not-getting?

Alt text: I am going to Las Vegas for a week.

There is something oddly adorable of Philippe in a cowboy hat.

There is something oddly adorable about Philippe in general.

But Ray! Cowboys!

hahahahahaha

He issues this line with such a sense of urgency.

Philippe is rad

aah, the tiny arms era.

Cowboys!

Possibly the most oft-repeated phrase to emerge from Achewood thus far.

It's been said before, but for real this time...THIS is the saddest thing.

you mispelled "raddest"

I like how "dressing up like cowboys" involves only hats - no shirts or hand-held props. Perhaps there are also boots that fail to appear in the frame.

A neckerchief would make all the difference.

Oh! So sad! Don't stop trying, Phillipe!!

This strip got me into Achewood.

It is the raddest strip.

Little dude is just so damn crushed by the idea of an emotional state that can't be cured by cowboys.

This is terrible. Philippe now knows that cowboys can't save things.

America, you have turned a corner and the abyss yawns.

i now sign all thank you notes with "you. are. rad." it pleases me

Next time I'm drunk as a sailor on shore leave I'm just going to start hugging people while whispering emphatically "You...are...rad!"

I told my friend she was rad when she was feeling down. She looked at me funny.

Maybe she thought you were coming onto her.

The same thing keeps happening to me! It is something that occurs often!

What's this odd warm fuzzy feeling permeating my psyche?

If everyone was a little more like Phillipe, the world would be a much radder place.

Frequently, when smeone disagrees with me, I say, "But (insert person's name here), Cowboys!", but they usually don't get it. I wish I knew more people who read Achewood.

I've found myself using another line from the strip in similar situations: "They let atheletes wear leg warmers!" in a kind of argumentative tone.

It gets the same response.

maybe I should stop saying "ath-e-letes"

maybe that would help

Philipe makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The haphazard tilt of Ray's hat in the third and fourth panels is what really makes this one for me.

Aww...poor Philippe.

Everyone has one strip that made them realise Achewood was the best thing the human race had ever done. This one is mine.

With a cowboy hat on, Phillipe looks just like Twinkie the Kid.

Don't know why but I read the first panel as 'butt ray', with the 'butt party' strip still fresh in mind.
I'm embarrased to say I was giggling

A rare intimate moment shared due to the loss of a friend. and undoubtedly a few drinks.
