You just can't resist sour cream. It turns a regular taco into a supreme.

If condiments are the cost of being lean,
you keep you dang figures, I'll burst out of my jeans.

excellent, with your avatar and everything

a chubby

DJ luckypyjamas got a little chubby that year.

Thanks Pam Ayres! How's the contract with Woman's Weekly?

Pigman would rather be eating food.

dj rae...

Ray got served by his own mom -- the ultimate humiliation.

"Raymond, sweetie, wake up... Time for school! We'll be taking the car of pain this morning."

BAM.

Sour cream didn't invent itself, it was an invention handed down by god himself to teach us the lesson of loosing up and eating food thats beyond its prime.

Love the "isself" and the framing on the last panel.

If I'm not mistaken, here we have the first appearance of the jacket Ray wears solely for using the phone.

GUAC

In the end, he just settles on "Prime Time Productions".

Sassy

I didn't like the alt text around this time.

i just didn't GET the alt text this time around

This has to be one of my favorite strips -- "it invented isself" is one of those lines that bubbles up in my consciousness every random few weeks and gives me a giggle.

5... I freakin LOVE sour cream

Don't get your drink on and then call your mom, Ray. It never turns out like you think.

Huh. Not too sure why this more elderly, informative comment lacks chubbies. Whatever, it has at least one now.

I have had this conversation many times with my own mother :(

it is ok, butta

she is not here

you can take the bag off your head

it gets better as it goes on. i don't like the first half too much.

I imagine Ray sort of descending into a childish whine in the last panel, hence "isself." I may be reading too much into it.
