"I CAN"T" buttons, anyone?
i'd wear it.

Wow, I totally missed that. That raised this strip from a 3 to a 4 for me.

Still looks like "I CUNT" to me. I know it's not and all, but that's what it looks like.

"I "

i dont get it.

Gosh, I thought it said 1 cent

Most of the guests strips I really don't like but this one hits the fucking mark. Great stuff.

I say "I-de-a."
English is quite flexible;
we could both be right!

I' DE a totally has
three (3) syllables
depending on
your definition
of syllable

(free verse)

Those are not haikus.
You're just counting syllables.
Stop that this instant.

I come from Texas
My drawl is noticeable
One says "Ah-dee-ah"

tre sexy...

Holy crap, I just noticed that Ray and Roast Beef's word bubbles in the third panels are also haiku.

AND they sound very much like what they would say in that situation. Is there some way I can give this one a 47/5?

Last panel Ray is very sexy.

Oh jesus. Look at those curves.

i notice lyle is utilizing a rare forehand bird.

ray is such a lightweight

he is a cat

Beef's whiskers are ruuuuude

This strip is actually really well drawn. That's all I ask of a guest strip.

YEAH

I am very down with this guest strip.
Panels 2 and 4 are quite appropriate and enjoyable though I guess I am always happy when Lyle's middle finger serves a punch line.
And yes well drawn

i would like this if the ray and beef dialogue was not so flat

but my esteem of it rises slightly in light of its haikuity

Gal thinks Jim Beam is handsomer than lad
It isn't bad

Does anyone else go through and count out the syllables in each line everytime they come across a haiku? Particularly in an office building where people are apt to walk by and see you counting on your fingers in front of a cartoon?

Oh yeah, I have to do that with every haiku I come across. Except for the actually, you know, Japanese ones, which are like never actually in the 5-7-5 pattern.

well of course they're not, they've been translated from English.

there are different meters for haiku(besides 5-7-5).

I use the little abacus in my head.

I like the inclusion of LN's gangsta pants.

I missed this one somehow.

And now someone is mad at you for it...
