this is exactly how i've always pictured an irs audit. it's hilarious when you put it into words.

auditing sounds sort of like the awkward silence at first between boyfriend and girlfriend when one finds out the other was cheating on them.

"Awkward silence" is a pretty optimistic way to describe this scenario.

Yeah, there are... worse ways for that to go down.

Ending in fake pregnancies, across-the-street slit wrists and overdoses of aspirin.

Your avatar makes this.

Todd is the only character whose lines I read out loud. "I run smack in my van!"

The morality is negated by the enthusiasm.

I have printed out your comment and when I go home I am putting it on my fridge.

That last sentance is my second favorite Roast Beef line in the entire archive. It's just so... potent.

Allow me to implicitly ask the obvious question!

So potent Todd is scared straight the one and only time ever. So Potent.

Replace some vowels with numerals and that's a spam subject line I've probably already received.

I don't know. Reruns don't really make sense in the context of a webcomic. It seems like you could just provide a link to the old one. And its even weirder here, where we've got separate ratings and comments for both versions.

it's

Monty Python's Flying Sirrrr-KUS!

by the way did you know that the foot is from Bronzino's Venus, Cupid, Folly and Time

It's an even trade because YOU also gave ME a chubby.

Beef thinks it's dope to do your tax early.

He's right. Filin' early is dope.

He just looks at you and he knows that you lied

Roast Beef's description is epic-like.

I don't think Beef's tax advice helped much, considering that Todd nearly got the lethal injection because of messing up his taxes so bad.

I always assumed the order of events was the other way around. Todd done fucked up so much, he ain't risking doing his taxes by himself.

Although, shit, that doesn't really explain why Todd gets so freaked out about getting audited if he almost got killed last time.

A valuable lesson intax evasion (and I'm working ina tax preparation office as I read it -- delicous irony)

Technically, you were not working in a tax preparation office.

{Just looks at pogo}

Okay, I was supposed to be working, my ass was in the chair, but my mind was on Achewood. Guilty as charged. Now, pussicutor, else ya got?

Unless you were also drunk, we're even.

Even, Steven. Say, isn't it strange to be having a present-day discussion back here amidst these year-old posts?

p...pussicutor?
