Sounds like a good musical.

I feel like the musical is such a ludicrous and fundamentally misguided form of art that only one that has a terrible and laughable concept, and one that is so on accident, not on purpose in some attempt to be ironic, could in any way ever be good.

Optimism is not filling.

Hm. I didn't eat lunch. I'll just have to order two.

And yet terror is

Achewood is my mental diaper

I don't think you fully understand the concept of whar a diaper is and is used for.

Achewood absorbs excess stress, preventing unseemly outbursts. It also makes me feel confident and look cool.

Nothing makes you feel confident and cool more than a diaper

That's why the seen in dances with wolves where the guy pisses himself was quoted so much. Oh wait, I'm thinking of the scene in terminator where he rammed a car into the police station. I don't know how I confused the two. If only you all could watch the movie made up of half rememberings of those two films mixed together that exists somewhere in the back of my mind.

Chubbied for "unseemly outbursts."

Chubbied for excellent reply.

Is this on account of chubbies making unseemly outbursts?

ray is a thinking man.

You mean nappy

"There is no bathroom!" screamed the furious Austrian.

...Hitler?

"There is no spoon," opined Neo.

"There is no dog...is there?" - Bob Arctor

Technically "nappy" is short for "napkin", but no-one refers to the infant shit hammock by the latter name except such as Johnson and Johnson when they sell unguents and salves for "napkin rash".

I like how Rays pose is the same in panels 5 and 6, completely lost in thought.
And how do you decide to 'have optimism'?

That blank expression is his way of granting Waterbury leisure for a walk in the garden.

Ray didn't hear him at all. He's lost in deep thought about his character's optimism, or lack thereof. Timingwise, I think about 15 seconds elapses wherein Ray doesn't move from his "Rodin's Thinker" position he holds in panels 5 & 6.

Waterbury, being a gentleman, lets himself out.

Rebuttle: it is an endless loop.

You start with having despair, and seeking a solution that does not require having confidence.

Ray thinks that it is rad to have optimism.

Ray's just such a creator

Waterbury is already a delightful replication of Jeeves, but his grudging assistance listening to Ray's piece of work only fortifies that image in my mind.

Steak On: Apply directly to the steak.

Damnit, Steak On, your commercials are annoying, but your product is incredible.

To the foresteak. Ha ha... eew.

Ray is basically Elton John without Bernie Taupin.

I joined this site specifically so I could chubby this comment. It's pretty much the truest thing I have ever read.

The truest thing you ever read is a short story about me boning your mom last night. I hope this information is useful.

I thought the truest thing was that your face was most muppet-like?

(Not that I've ever played the game. abcd alt-255)

KNOW THAT YOU, TOO, SHALL KNEEL BEFORE ME, AVATAR!

Optimisms the Gorilla!!
What? well it makes sense to me
(SO baked right now)

I am giving this a "Chubby", for you for typing something that you kind of sort of know that probably isn't quite as funny as maybe you think but you don't CARE because you are baked and you are going to hit Post anyway god damnit!

YEAH!

Ray's mental diapers are suprising pleasent

It's sort of a shame that we don't much see Ray at the piano anymore these days, as he is depicted here. The greatest achievement of his record label (Sugar Loadzz, the guys who compare their junk to dog food) can't really hold a candle to his actual talent at the piano, which got him started in the music biz in the first place.

Ray does a lot of steaking in this arc. Yum!
