I mean, I know what you're saying and you're right too, but the way you say things around here... I just don't know, man.

it's just off is what it is

So Chris's grandmother sounds a lot like Ray's mom.

except i'm sure chris never yelled at his grandmother about how his friends wanted to kiss molly ringwold's titties

You don't know that.

Oh! That's good!

I know! It's Important!

Philippe has a job?

he does if onstad's grandmother thinks he should

My heavens! Of course Phillipe has a job. We must all stay active and contribute to society. Why, listen to how I'm yammering away! Things to do, things to do...

Interesting when we go from a stripper bar to a sleek haired téodor and innocent philippe talking about family and church on account of onstad's grandmother.

To be fair, Phillipe was already pretty innocent.

God bless.

Does this mean no more hella yellin about the sex?

chubby becuase your avatar made me laugh

Seconded

This strip actually raises an interesting question. If interviews are to be believed, almost all of Onstad's income comes from Achewood. It's only inevitable that his mother and/or grandmother will, at some point, ask what his job is. When he says that he writes a comic, wouldn't his mother/grandmother DEFINITELY start reading it? Support your own child, you know...

He is in a Time Magazine Top Ten List. At the Top. I get in Time Magazine in such a fashion, the hell my mama gonna care what it is for.

Just don't get in Time Magazine like this

Hitler was very close to his mother, who spoiled him throughout his life, as he was her only son who survived. It's hard to say what she would have thought of her son had she survived to see what he became, but it's difficult to believe she wouldn't have been proud.

Yeah, most of his villainy only became apparent after his death. There's a good chance that his mother wouldn't even have known about the whole Holocaust thing as it was happening, and even if she would have known, who can say she wouldn't have supported it?

That was probably his inspiration for the strip where Mrs. Smuckles tries to purchase the testicles for her cell phone.

Would Onstad's grandmother not approve of Philippe's old shoes??

If it weren't Phillipe who was in the panel, I'd swear Teodor was trying to make a drug transaction with that wily church code of his.

Is anyone else reminded of The Freshman ?

For a moment, I was confused. I was thinking of The Graduate . I was having trouble understanding the relevance.

I thought grammas like to get boned, too.

The toughest part about working on anything for an artist is keeping your work away from your parents.

5 5 5 5 5 5 5

I have never stopped laughing at this strip. It sounds painful, but I eventually just made a certain part of my brain keep laughing in my head all day every day.

It makes conversation difficult.

- So, do you want to get up being 5 tomorrow, or turn 6?
- Oh, better make it five!
