I guess for a public service announcement, it's not bad. The pope getup is a nice touch.

I was getting more of a pope-crossed with dracula vibe. (Not that that's any less cool)

The Pope's cousin, Count Popeula.

This is the strip that brought forward Risotto Wars. The Dude & Catastrophe. Lyle In A Nunnery.
This strip heralded the birth of the best Achewood ever.

It needs a 5.

The blogs are ESSENTIAL and AMAZING. But this still gets a 3.

Yeah, I felt that fiving this strip was the best way for me to show my appreciation for the blogs. But that's just me.

I'm sorry, "Put on your Face Eyes and sit in your Body Chair" earns this comic a 4. I love me some Beef.

We should be friends.

maybe

Which way are you leaning?

ok, sure.

Alright.

Awkwaaaaaard.

Six months from now, your timestamp will read one year ago and mine six months ago. I hope somebody comes along then and comments on mine to keep this chain going.

I'm just commenting to keep the chain going. :) Six months from now your timestamp will read eight months ago and mine will read six months ago!

But five months from now this reads 5 months ago and his reads eight months ago :o :o :o Oh god

I bumped this up to a 2 because it included the phrases "Face Eyes" and "Body Chair."

Yay! Blogs!

Also; Why isn't he out of the country yet?

A comment left by joeyramoney was marked lame too many times and excluded. (marked lame by straw, silver_lake, katsura, wargasmic, rowboat, equinn2006, woodenteeth, atticusonline, BillyLK, slalvation, Nictusempra)

no, that honor belongs to the cumbrella strip

But that wasn't Onstad's product, so I really wouldn't count it.

The only "worst strips" are re-runs (with the obvious exception of most of the guest strips, which, as excusemesenator correctly pointed out, shouldn't be held against Onstad). For whatever reason he wasn't able or willing to post a proper strip at that time, he could've just thrown a re-run up here. But he didn't. He instead brought us Face Eyes and Body Chair, and for that I think we (you) should be grateful.

I agree 100%. Hell, I gave it a five just because it announces the beginning of the blogs; but I mainly did just for the Face Eyes and Body Chair.

I liked the cumbrella strip.

no one ever

dog I loved the cumbrella

should love the cumbrella.

I ain't say I liked the comic, I just like the concept. I live in a really rough neighborhood.

Friday's breakfast
I didn't have breakfast today; more.
Lunch was pretty good today.

I've wished we could read the blogs in order along with the strips, and I think I've seen a few comments to that effect as well. Do people like this idea? You can spam it away if not. It's pretty long for now, though I expect that calms down after the initial blogging push. If people think it's a good idea I can keep doing it.

You just should get all sorts of chubs for your Transmet Avatar pic. Just... chubs upon chubs.

I've said this before, but since it started here I'll say it again: it's a fine thing you're doing here, xiaomimi.

This was definitely a good idea! I think you've made quite a large contribution here.

Thank you.

I know I've commented elsewhere, but this practice is, of course, extremely helpful. I tried going through each blog in order once before, but having them lined up in parallel here is far better. They make more sense in the context of the strips, and particularly in context of each other (Ray gets new rum/Lyle finds new rum, Ray is pissed because nobody attended his party/Philippe is thrilled because everyone came to his, etc.) I also seem to recall that the blogs explained why Cornelius was where he was when Pat shot him, among many other connections to the strips. This idea for a project was awesome, and I'm glad you kept it up.

Every time I see a post of yours, I chubby it.

You need to post more!

I should like to take this opportunity to forewarn you against reading any of Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything....

A tumbler of Talisker is unquestionably the ideal cure for this variety of existential turbulence.

Cornelius' wisdom is boundless.

Also...
I'm not too happy with how many directions my mind shot in whilst considering the implications of Teodor's use of "Nature's Miracle" and a trowl to help with Philippe's condition.

At least three unappealing ideas completely blindsided me.

i was hella excited to see what the xiaomimi comment on this page had to offer.

i am so glad it is so expansive.

i chubbied this so hard i almost had to get a new mouse.

Roast Beef! Do not wear a cape!

Roast Beef, you are the Pope. How come?

There is the sense of pure bleariness in the writing of this strip. I sense it and I appreciate it.

When I need cheering up, I imagine Roast Beef saying this in the voice of Flavor Flav.

this is seriously the most hilarious thing I have ever read.
